Geoffrey Paul

Co-Trustee

Managing Director and Limited Partner of the registered investment advisory firm, United Capital, Geoffrey Paul began his career at Merrill Lynch in 1979. In 1994, he joined privately held Oppenheimer & Company, where he founded The Paul Group, specializing in investment management and advisory for high-net-worth individuals and families. Geoffrey continued his role as Chief Investment Strategist of The Paul Group while serving as Managing Director with Bear Stearns & Co., UBS Financial Services, and, until 2025, Morgan Stanley.
 

As a longtime investment advisor to Roy Eddleman, Geoffrey was instrumental in structuring numerous business and charitable ventures for Roy, including the sale of Spectrum, Inc. to Repligen Corporation in 2017.
 

A noted historian and lecturer, Geoffrey has advised private collectors, estates, and institutions on significant art, objects, and historic properties. Geoffrey has consulted on the sale, purchase, and placement of important items in the permanent collections of the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Yale University Art Gallery, Winterthur Museum, Detroit 

Institute of the Arts, and many other notable institutions. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and business from Rollins College.
